About The Position
We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic Front-End Engineer with extensive experience in React. The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute, demonstrate exceptional technical skills, and bring a positive attitude to our collaborative environment in the heart of Chicago.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using React
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create seamless and performant user experiences
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure we are always leveraging the best tools and practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX)
- Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, and working with styled components
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- High energy and eagerness to take on new challenges
Bonus Experience (Nice to Have)
If you have expertise in any of these areas, even better!
- Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git), strong Agile Scrum experience
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (LESS/Sass/etc)

- Accrued PTO: Your PTO is earned incrementally with each pay period, so you build up your time off throughout the year. This means you’ll have access to your earned PTO as soon as it accrues, allowing you to plan your time away in a way that works for you.
- Earn Up to 80 Hours of PTO Annually: Every year, you’ll have the opportunity to accrue up to a total of 80 hours (2 full weeks) of paid time off. Once you hit the 80-hour maximum, accruals pause until you use some of your available time. This ensures you have ample opportunity to use your time off.
- Start Earning From Day One: No waiting period required — you begin accruing PTO from your very first paycheck, so you can start planning your time off right away.
